Ecumenical Thanksgiving service on November 19

Residents are invited to attend the annual Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service  on Sunday, November 19 at 2 PM at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church on Vernon Street in Middleport. The Middleport Community Choir will be singing and the Middleport Belltones will also perform. Four churches from the Village of Middleport are participating in the annual services. Everyone is welcome to attend. A simple reception will follow the service. A free will offering will be taken to support the Middleport Food Pantry.

RHBPA Meeting Notes – June 2017

Wednesday, June 14th 2017 Attendees: Greg Zakrzewski, Ann Busch, Keith Bond, Janet Lyndaker, Julie Maedl, Vonda Westcott (if I forgot anyone, please let me know!) The meeting was called to order at 8:14 AM by President Greg Zakrzewski. Treasurers Report: Julie reported we have $3,082.08 in our account. ($500 was given for scholarship, and $3.00 bank fee was deducted). Old Business Membership – Julie has received only seven memberships so far. She will send hard copy invoices. Little Story Time at the library

Mondays at 10 a.m. beginning July 10 You asked and we listened! Starting July 10th, we will be having story time for the little ones on Mondays at 10 a.m. at the Royalton Hartland Community Library. Bring your little ones for a wonderful introduction to reading! NOTE: We will not be changing our hours and will continue to open at 11 a.m. for normal operations.

Thanks to the Early Literacy Grant, we were able to purchase all these new toys that promote imaginative play, motor skills, counting, cooperation, and so much more that’s necessary for shaping young minds! Election Results

I would like to thank all of the candidates who ran for this year’s election for doing the job right. Our state and federal candidates could take a lesson from them for remaining aboveboard and clean.
