Everyone is welcome to come to our new Game Club! From chess to classic board and card games, join us for multiple games every week and there will be snacks!

Every Tuesday at 4 p.m. beginning October 6, the Game Club will meet in the upstairs Community Room to take on the challenges of Chess and a number of board games.

Snacks will also be served. No registration is needed for Game Club players, and parents are welcome, but not required to attend.

Ancestry Library Edition brings the popular online genealogy resource to the library and provides access to billions of records in census data, vital records, directories, photos and more.

Unlimited access to this service is provided within the Royalton Hartland Community Library and can be used while on your own laptop, iPad, Smart Phone or by using one of the library’s public access computers. Patrons in the library and connected to the Wi-Fi simply use the link provided at the library to begin discovering more about their roots.

With one episode left of Downton Abbey, 22 loyal fans enjoyed a Downton Abbey Tea on Saturday, February 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Royalton Hartland Community Library.

These enthusiasts had all sorts of fun chatting about the Crawley family and all of the series’ marriages, deaths, the Great War, as well as the lives of their large and interesting kitchen and household staff.

Delicious desserts from the Stone Hollow Farm Bakery were served at the tea along with, of course, tea. Party goers are invited to bring their favorite teacup to the party to use.

Along with discussion of the popular PBS series that is nearing the end of its fifth season, games related to Downton Abbey were also played.
