he Post meets monthly from September through June every 2nd Tuesday, at 8 p.m. in the Legion hall (above the Village offices). We annually we organize a Memorial Day parade, an annual Veterans dinner held the 3rd Thursday of April, flag placement on all veterans graves each May and hold a Veterans’ Day ceremony with free luncheon, provided by the Auxiliary.

The Masons Cataract Lodge 295 in Middleport was chartered in 1853. The group meets 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 7:30 PM at the Masonic Lodge building.

Middleport Community Choirs
The Middleport Community Choirs are “a community of churches that sings from the heart.” We are two choirs: the vocal choir, The Middleport Community Choir, and the hand bell choir, The Middleport Bell Tones. The MCC is a voluntary organization which is made up of approximately 45 active members from Middleport, Medina, Gasport, Lockport, and Lyndonville. Ric Jones – contact person

Middleport Rod & Gun Club
It will be the mission of the Middleport Rod and Gun Club to provide a safe environment for the promotion of the shooting sports (i.e,. rifle, shotgun, archery, black powder) to the public and its youth, to provide an opportunity for anyone who wants to learn how to be a safe and responsible person in the shooting sports. It will also be the mission of this club to promote and facilitate the preservation of our natural resources.

Middleport Senior Citizens
The Middleport Senior Citizens meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month in Middleport and feature a variety of guests, activities and speakers to keep seniors informed and connected. Meetings are at lunch time and members bring a table service. Dessert and beverages are usually provided. The group meets at noon at the Middleport Village Building in Telegraph Road.

  1. My daughter moved back here from Fla last month and lives in town. She needs help with winter clothing etc. I’m on limited income and can’t really help her. Is there any organization in town to help her?
