Flagpole to be dedicated Friday, October 7

Join us Friday at 2 PM at Margaret Droman Park on the north side of the canal near the lift bridge for a dedication of a new flagpole that has been donated by Aslan Plumbing. Village officials and member of the Clute-Phillips Post 938, American Legion will be there to perform the ceremony and raise the flag donated by the Post. Everyone is invited to attend. Kids and teens learn how to play at the Royalton Hartland Community Library Everyone is welcome to come to our new Game Club! From chess to classic board and card games, join us for multiple games every week and there will be snacks! Every Tuesday at 4 p.m. beginning October 6, the Game Club will meet in the upstairs Community Room to take on the challenges of Chess and a number of board games. Boaters, bikers, vistors! Wi-Fi in the Village

Visitors to Middleport can catch up with their friends and family without using their data minutes using the free Wi-Fi at the Royalton Hartland Community Library. Wi-Fi can be accessed inside or from one of the outdoor benches in front of the library and can be used to send emails, check your Facebook page or to find something on the Internet. The Wi-Fi is on 24/7 so boaters, bikers and other visitors can use it. Downton Abbey party held at the Royalton Hartland Community Library

Attendees showed off their favorite teacup! With one episode left of Downton Abbey, 22 loyal fans enjoyed a Downton Abbey Tea on Saturday, February 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Royalton Hartland Community Library. These enthusiasts had all sorts of fun chatting about the Crawley family and all of the series’ marriages, deaths, the Great War, as well as the lives of their large and interesting kitchen and household staff.
