Summer Recreation Program news

Applications are now being accepted for the Village’s Summer Recreation Program. The program is open to any youngster who resides in the Village and is entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade in September 2017.   Applications are available at the Village Hall (24 Main Street), the Royalton Hartland Community Library (9 Vernon Street), and from the Village’s website (www.villageofmiddleport.org), under Parks & Recreation. Applications will be accepted until July 8. The program runs for 5 weeks, from July 10 through August 11.   Proof of Health Insurance must be provided by parents/guardians, and a Hold Harmless Agreement must be signed by parents/guardians. There is a limited number of places in the program, so apply now to ensure your child will be able to participate!

The Royalton Hartland Community Library has some new and exciting additions to our children’s area! Thanks to the Early Literacy Grant, we were able to purchase all these new toys that promote imaginative play, motor skills, counting, cooperation, and so much more that’s necessary for shaping young minds! RHBPA Meeting Minutes – Wednesday, April 12th 2017 Attendees: Greg Zakrzewski, Ann Busch, Keith Bond, Janet Lyndaker, Julie Maedl, Vonda Westcott The meeting was called to order at 8:20 AM by President Greg Zakrzewski. Scholarship – Greg is dropping off the paperwork this week. Evening Meeting – Greg will continue to try to make arrangements for another evening meeting and will keep us posted. Online or phone payments are for taxes or water/sewer bills only.  Please note that any applicable fees are the responsibility of the cardholder. The Village does not pay the credit card user fee.

Old Business – None New Business • January Holiday Dinner – The Annual Holiday Dinner meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 18th at the United Methodist Church, beginning with drinks and appetizers at 6:00 PM and dinner at 6:30 PM, served by Bond Catering.
